How to Grow
1. Starting Seeds
Start seeds indoors about 8–10 weeks before the last frost date. Plant seeds around 1/4 inch deep in moist, well-drained soil.
For best germination, keep the soil temperature between 75°F and 90°F. A heat mat or warm indoor location can help maintain proper warmth. Avoid temperatures above 90°F, as this may reduce germination or cause seed rot.
Keep the soil lightly moist, but do not overwater.
2. Seedling Care
Once seedlings sprout, keep them in small containers until they develop several sets of true leaves.
Good airflow is important to help keep seedlings healthy.
3. Transplanting
Before moving plants outdoors, gradually expose them to sunlight over 1–2 weeks.
These peppers are excellent for indoor growing and do very well in 2–3 gallon pots. Move plants indoors when nighttime temperatures become too cool.
Pro Tips
Harvesting peppers regularly can encourage a second colorful crop later in the season.
Great choice for apartment growers and gardeners with limited space.
